SDNEA membership recruitment policy allows for a payment of $25.00 for enrolling a new member.

(sponsors wishing to receive payment should sign on the Association Representative line.)

The membership dues shown on this form are for a teacher who has worked in SSD for more than 3 years.

A teacher who has never been a MNEA member and is in their

Third year of employment (NEIP3) pays $467.50 annually ($390.50 NEA/MNEA plus $77 SDNEA local dues).

                   Second year (NEIP2) pays $367.50 annually ($290.50 NEA/MNEA plus $77 SDNEA local dues)

                       First year (NEIP1) pays  $268.00 annually ($191 NEA/MNEA plus $77 SDNEA local dues)

Half time dues (any part time employee) $325.00 annually ($248 NEA/MNEA plus $77 SDNEA local dues)

       Full time professional dues are:  $566.00 annually. ($489 NEA/MNEA plus $77 SDNEA local dues)

Members electing payroll deduction of dues (by completing bottom portion of form) would pay $14.88/pay period (NEIP1) or

$31.45/pay period (Full Time Professional).

Payroll deduction of dues occurs from Sept. 30th thru the June 15th (18 payperiods).
