Representative Assembly
honors Shirley Cromer recipient, passes legislative platform.
Delegates from across the state gathered in Jefferson City for Missouri NEA's
fall representative assembly, Nov. 10. They adopted the Association's 2007 legislative
platform, which defines the priorities that MNEA lobbyists and leaders will
pursue when the Missouri General Assembly convenes January 2007.
Delegates also elected representatives to the MNEA Political Action Executive Council, recognized the Quality Local Association Award recipients and honored Shirley Cromer Award winner Julia Todd, Raymore-Peculiar NEA.
MNEA presented Quality Local Association Awards in Gold, Silver and Bronze categories. The following locals received awards:
